The Cradock Cycling Tour is a project embarked upon by individuals who decided to cycle from EL to Cradock. These people were: Makhosi Mntambo, KatisoLetlaka, Tanana Mntambo and Vuyani Rasmeni. This idea was developed into a community development project which could be used to uplift the socially and economically disadvantaged Cradock communities.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF CRADOCK CYCLING TOUR
This started as a small talk between Katiso, Makhosi and Tanana. Influenced by Katiso’s participation in the 1965 ride which cycles between Johannesburg and Queenstown. He then suggested that we can ride from East London to Cradock. An NPO (Non for profit) company was formed with the name CRADOCK CYCLING TOUR with the above members as directors. Its mandate is to be a charity organization aimed at uplifting Cradock community. It seeks to achieve this by using cycling as a vehicle to fund raise and then donate to Cradock community. Members voluntarily participated and we had our first tour in 2018.
